What was your favorite question asked?
This was an enjoyable discussion about fundamental things. I liked it! My fave questions were the first about self-programming and the one about hitting PRs. I'm an aspiring powerlifter AND a personal trainer, so I'm a little bit of a control freak (ie I like to program for myself). My current program uses the Max Effort Method, so the PR question was helpful. Thanks yall

I want to use your program you posted Alan but I'm not as experienced as you so I can't do the same intensity as you can as I'm a junior in high school and have been lifting for about 3 years now. How would you recommend decreasing the intensity. I was thinking getting rid of the myo reps.
What do you recommend for a intermediate lifter, a 4 week program or a 12 week?

I’m biased somewhat to think you’re disagreeing with Alan and the fly that kinda flew in his face right before probably threw off his train of thought and semantics, but I’m curious Joey, what do you think about whether you should or shouldn’t strive to hit a PR leading up to a meet? Terry Hollands competed in a bodybuilding show and two months later took part in World ultimate strongman 2019. So of course doable. You may not reach the top but the fact that he qualified he was top 20
