So you used to race ultra marathons and your body can't sustain high volumes? Interesting… Hahahaha, just joking Seth, your plan looks solid for a great race in Cleveland. Keep up the good work! My strange habit is to drink coffee after lunch. Pretty regular I guess.
Try beet juice, instead of pineapple. Drinking beet juice or wheatgrass shots is one for me. But I also jump some rope every now and then, try to keep my feet feeling fast!
I make hand crafted beverages at an espresso bar and every time I hand a drink off I drop my hand and tap each of my fingers on the bar 🤷♂️🤓 idk I gotta do it. Also I love the awesome training and planning! I’m learning a lot. You’re gunna crush this Marathon Seth!

I can tell you that at 150 with a mix of gravel road/trail and asphalt/concrete, the outsole of the Beacon is starting to wear. I worry that by 200 it's going to be dead. The midsole is starting to die out too

I’ve been drinking Kefir for the probiotics before bed for gut health. And for the past 2 months or so after my last marathon been drinking Collagen protein for joint health while strength training during the off season. Aside from that nothing too unusual.
Well I take calcium, magnesium , and potassium every night before bed. And For some reason I get up between 2 and 3 in the morning and drink milk lol I don't know why I crave milk in the middle of the night. So you're not the only weird one Seth lol

Seth I like to drink orange juice after all my runs. That's great for me your doing your live stream during the day because I work night shift maybe you could do this once a month for the other countries and the night shift workers. Your training is very interesting leading up to the marathon like I have said before I wonder why you don't race a half before the marathon. Run on

Elton – perhaps I am odd – I am not sure I have a thing I do everyday (other than watch running videos most days LOL) I do take swigs from stuff in the fridge when its there but I could not say that its daily – The interesting blocks in your training are helpful, I believe that it helps prevent staleness by making them long but not too long you are getting some good stimulus and then before you tire of it you have the opportunity to switch it up instead of being married to a plan.

I put up a pull up bar on the doorway of my office. I have to pay the doorway to enter or exit my office with pushups or pullups. If I fail on any pull up, I have to do negatives.
Early May you will be running about 90 miles or more! What about taper? When will you start and how long will you do it?

Elton! QD: Not that strange but almost every evening when I get home from work, 2 or 3 of the neighbourhood cats will appear right by the car door awaiting their supper/snack. I always have a bag of kibbles in the car for that, and in case of any hungry looking strays when I’m out.

Hi Seth, have you ever worn insoles? Do you have any thoughts on them? The stock insoles in my Clifton 4s drive me crazy.

Isn't hill training speed training in disguise? We are blessed to have the mountains and high altitude here. Something you can't replicate in most places.
Elton!QD: When I find a song or a piece of music I really like I put it on repeat and listen to it for days, It drives my wife nuts! It was even worse when I used to listen to music on CD, but now with iTunes after a few days of non-stop listening the song usually fades into obscurity due to the enormity of the music library.
Sounds like you've progressed that mileage really well, very jealous of your mountainous terrain you have…I mean we have hills but your mountains are a different ballgame!!
(Dean Norman on Strava) I drink a glass of milk and take 3 Magnesium tablets and 2 Calcium tablets every night. Since doing this I haven't had any shin splints, which plagued me for a few years.

Plans for 2019 – Boston, Comrades ultra, Beaver Flat 50 ( my first proper trail race) and also waiting to hear on NYC marathon.
